WEEK 2
5th Experiment

Date: 10th March 2011
The method and recipe are same with the last week experiment.
But we’re change the protein product of that experiment.

 Objectives of the experiment

The objective for this dish is:
1.    Change protein with other product:
Meat, banana leaf and coconut leaf.
2.    Taste of the dish.
3.    To find the ingredient suitable or not.

Ingredients


2 egg

3-4 tbsp chilli paste
4 shallots
1 whole large bwg
4 pieces of white bwg
1 "ginger
1 "ginger
Coriander
Cumin
Salt n sugar




Method to make

we prepare the ingredients then we make the mise an place. we blend all the ingredients to make a paste of otak - otak.beside,we cut the coconut leaf and banana leaf for wrap the filling of otak- otak. also we're change the protein.  finally, we bake and steam the otak - otak.



Task for our group:
OTAK-OTAK :

MEATchange protein product on the ingredient with meat.
COCONUT LEAF and BANANA LEAFusing this to wrap otak-otak.

During the experiment


1.    Mise an place






2.    Blend the ingredient



1.    Ingredient after blend


3.    Cut the coconut leaf and banana leaf.



4.    Put the filling 



5.    Otak-otak before bake.


6.    Otak – otak after finish





Conclusion
 After we finish the experiment, Chef Zaid comment that our otak-otak was better from before this. but the filling is tasting good.

Recommendation 
 we're change the protein and less a little ingredients.
